Household septic systems need to be pumped out on a regular basis, typically every 2 to 5 years depending on the size of the system and the number of occupants.
To avoid the risk of having sewage back up into your home, or solid waste damaging your septic field, schedule a service in advance, as part of your property maintenance.
If your showers or sinks are draining slowly, or you hear gurgling in the sewage system when you flush, you’ll likely need your septic tank pumped.
Symptoms of a system that needs maintenance
- Soft or mushy areas in your yard
- Foul odors
- Gurgling noises while flushing
- Slow drains
- Sewage coming out of where water is supposed to go down
Each time a septic tank is pumped by us, our drivers perform a visual check. We look for excessive sludge, excessive solids, plugged pipes (inlet & outlet) as well as clean the filter (if applicable)
We will let you know if anything is out of the ordinary and help you come up with a plan to keep your system healthy!

When excess amounts of solids find their way into your septic field, usually due to a lack of pump out maintenance, a hydro-flush is a service we offer that can clean out the lines and get them going like new again. If the system hasn't been maintained for far too long and the damage is not repairable, we are well connected and can find you a contractor who can help replace the septic field.

He started JW Septic in 2022 with one goal in mind - to deliver exceptional customer service, and do a 10/10 job every single time without compromise. In his spare time he enjoys working on off-road vehicles and European cars, fabricating parts, machining, playing golf, hunting, and exercising.
